The purpose of Shannon Forest Christian School is to support the Christian home and church by providing quality education from an evangelical, Biblical perspective in order to equip and challenge students to influence culture and society for Jesus Christ.
OVERVIEW
Founded in 1968, Shannon Forest Christian School (SFCS) is a fully accredited, college preparatory program located on a spacious 50-acre campus in the heart of Greenville’s Eastside community.
Serving students from pre-Kindergarten through 12th Grade, SFCS provides a high-caliber education from a Biblical worldview and enriched community experiences through academics, athletics, fine arts, service learning and spiritual development. With an average student/teacher ratio of 10:1, our students are afforded the individualized attention they deserve.
Understanding that each student is uniquely and wonderfully made, we offer specialized programs including our Learning Difference Program (K5 -12th Grades) for students requiring additional attention, and F.O.C.U.S. (1st – 6th Grades) for high ability learners. Shannon Forest also boasts a one-of-a-kind Transitional Kindergarten (KT) program between PK4 and K5 and Advanced Placement (AP) courses are available in Upper School. Building upon more than forty years of excellence, our community is a great place to develop your student for the future.

SFPC DEACON SERVANT AWARD
In the fall of 2009, the deacons of Shannon Forest Presbyterian Church (SFPC) set out to establish an award to recognize a rising junior or senior who will be attending Shannon Forest Christian School (SFCS). The award honors students for their Christ-like service to their school, church, family, and community around them. Christ-like or Christian service is the selfless giving of one’s time, resources, and energy to help and benefit those around us with the hope that they, the beneficiaries, may praise our Father in heaven with us. The quantity of awards is a function of funding and the number of qualified applicants. It is the desire of the deacons to recognize at least one applicant each year; however, awards will not be granted to unqualified applicants.
