| This fall, the Ladies Book Club will be reading Take the Risk, by Ben Carson. Dr. Carson rose from the Detroit slums to become a Christian pediatric neurosurgeon specializing in separating conjoined twins. Filled with stories of his success and failure, the book challenges risk-averse folks to evaluate decisions differently. Books will be available for purchase in the coffee room beginning Sunday, Aug 15th for $10. They can also be found at local bookstores and the library. We will discuss the book on Monday, Oct 18th at 7:00 PM in the coffee room. |
