| Hi Ladies, it's that time already, time to register for TMBS! Please see Andrea's message below. Books will be available in the church vestibule on Sunday, August 15th, and Sunday, August 22nd. If you need to make other arrangements to get yours, please let Gail know. The cost for this semester will be $20. If you signed up for permanent registration, then you only need to pay and pick up your book, all others will need to complete a registration card. I have a question for you all. Why is it that when we think about the word "surrender", it is almost always negative. To us surrender normally means: giving in to somebody else, doing what others want instead of what you want, losing a battle, being under someone else's authority. I do not know about each of you, but surrender is difficult for me. I am very excited about our book selection for the Fall. The book is A Life Surrendered by June Kimmel. We will be studying Phillipians 2:5-11. Hopefully, by Christmas we will see that if Jesus could and did live a life surrendered surely we can too. |
