If you have any desire to be a part of the planning of or to help with the Fall Retreat, please attend our first meeting on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1st from 5:30-7 at the church Room location to be announced. We are securing childcare at this time and will confirm that before the meeting.
Attending does NOT commit you to anything, but will give you the opportunity to see if you want to be involved or if your gifts, talents, and calling are in line with any needs that are to be filled. There is however a place for any woman who wants to be involved.
Some positions and service areas that have need of volunteers are:
- Greeters/Hostesses (Secure snack donations, set up and clean up snacks for each session, greet and answer questions, etc., making sure that each woman has a great and enriching time and feels welcome and comfortable.
- Teachers to teach 1 chapter of the book. IT IS REQUIRED TO HAVE READ THE ENTIRE BOOK TO TEACH. Also please note that teaching will be from the author's perspective.
- Craft helpers to help set up and clean up craft activities
- "CALLERS"...ladies willing to take a portion of the church directory and call women with a personal invitation to the retreat
- Prayer team...ladies committed to praying over the event from now throughout the event weekend.
- Driver/haulers...those willing to drive ladies who need a ride and/or transport supplies.
