Who: Shannon Forest School, Church, Friends, and the other "3-mile" churches

Date: Between NOW and Aug. 7th (Tax Free Day) when you are shopping

What: Purchase school supplies to donate to the schools in our area to help teachers out. Each year, teachers spend between $700-1000 to stock their rooms with supplies for the year. Budgets have been cut, leaving them without the supplies they need. We are looking to support them, and show them Christ's love by doing this supply drive. ***What to buy is listed in the image above.

Where: Drop off your supplies at the church, along the wall in the hallway next to the office where we collect Operation Christmas Child Boxes each year, by SUNDAY AUG. 8th. We will gather all of the supplies from all 5 churches on Monday, 8/9/2010 at Rocky Creek Baptist Church. We will then divide them evenly and deliver them to the area schools. ***We can use volunteers for both sorting at Rocky Creek as well as delivering the supplies.
