Our theme for the conference this year was "Pointing Home." That is what we're about here at Shannon Forest Presbyterian Church. Our mission is to point people towarts home. What home? It's not a location, it's a person. We will only be at home in the presence of God and we can only be in the presence of God through the shed blood and resurrection of Jesus Christ who gave his life to pay for our sins and restore that broken relationship with God. Our entire mission as a church and as Christians can be summed up as pointing people to Jesus. On Friday March 9th, small groups met with different missionaries in various homes. On Saturday, we had a 4rd annual international dinner where people had the chance to "sample" food from all over the world which was followed by breakout sessions led by our missionaries speaking about their ministries. After the breakout sessions we had a special time in worship led by TruStory with Operation Mobilization. On Sunday during the Worship Service, we were lead by our missionaries who worked through our theme of "Pointing Home." Below are some media from various parts of the conference:
