Jeremy, Haley, and Abigail took a shortterm medical mission trip to Fortaleza, Brazil from March 24^th to April 2^nd. This was Jeremy’s 4^th trip, Haley’s 2^nd, and Abigail’s 1^st to Brazil. This year was different in that they did not go with a church; the team was primarily made up of medical personnel from the Greenville Hospital System—doctors, residents, a medical student, and a nurse. Jeremy was in charge of the group and all the preparations stateside, while a nurse from Brazil coordinated the details there. The group worked in some of the same flavelas (slums) and the orphanage of Jeremy’s prior trips, but this year they also traveled four hours into the interior/countryside of Brazil. They also visited with a small local hospital, Jeremy preaching at a church and also was able to participate in a radio program.  Below are some videos created from the trip.
